WHAT IT IS

Silicone / siloxane water repellent (penetrating) is a clear or milky silane, siloxane, or silicone-chemistry treatment absorbed into porous masonry, concrete, fibre cement, or natural stone to impart deep water repellency without altering surface appearance. Penetration depth is 5–20 mm; the hydrophobic lining forms inside pores and pore channels, blocking liquid water while retaining substrate vapour permeability. Applied by brush, roller, or low-pressure spray. Available in 500 g, 1 kg, and 5 kg bottles or pails. Particularly effective on Malaysian parapet walls, external facades, and heritage masonry exposed to windblown monsoon rain and persistent surface moisture.
