WHAT IT IS

Cementitious waterproofing slurry is a two-part, polymer-modified cement-based coating applied by brush or roller to concrete and masonry surfaces to block water penetration in Malaysian construction. Part A (polymer liquid) and Part B (cement powder) are site-mixed, then applied in 2–3 coats at approximately 1.0 kg/m² per coat. Rigid type (e.g. SikaTop® Seal-107 MY, 36 kg set): tensile adhesion ≥0.8 N/mm², suited to water tanks and basement walls under hydrostatic pressure. Flexible type (e.g. SikaTop® Seal-109 MY): crack-bridging up to 1 mm; capillary absorption <0.1 kg/m²·h⁰·⁵, suited to split slabs and wet areas where minor crack movement occurs.
