WHAT IT IS

SBR latex waterproof bonding agent is a styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) or acrylic latex emulsion used as a cement admixture or priming coat to improve adhesion, flexibility, and water resistance in Malaysian construction waterproofing and screeding work. Used as an admixture, it is blended into cementitious waterproofing slurries and floor screeds; used as a primer, it is applied neat to smooth or low-suction substrates such as old tiles or painted concrete before overlay coats. Improves the water resistance and flexibility of the modified cement system. Available in 1 L, 5 L, and 20 L pails. Not a standalone waterproofer — a bonding and modifying agent within a complete waterproofing system.
