WHAT IT IS

Polyurethane (PU) Waterproofing Coating is a liquid-applied membrane forming product used for trafficked roof decks, podiums, green roofs, and wet areas in Malaysian construction. One- or two-component PU formulations cure to a high-elongation membrane with elongation at break typically 300–600% and tensile strength ≥ 1.5 MPa. The continuous membrane remains flexible from approximately −20 °C to 80 °C, accommodating structural movement and bridging working cracks. Two-component systems provide faster cure, reducing construction programme time. Available in 5, 18, and 20 kg pails. No specific Malaysian MS standard; typically specified to manufacturer data sheet or BS EN 15058. Suitable for pedestrian traffic decks, podium planters, green roofs, balconies, and wet areas requiring durable crack-bridging waterproofing.
