WHAT IT IS

Bituminous Brush-Applied Waterproofing Coating is a water-based bituminous emulsion used to form a seamless waterproof membrane on concrete roofs, foundations, retaining walls, and below-grade surfaces in Malaysian construction. Applied cold by brush or roller in one or two coats; coverage approximately 0.8–1.5 kg/m² per coat depending on substrate porosity. Water-based formulation is lower VOC than solvent-based alternatives and bonds well to slightly damp substrates — practical advantage on Malaysian construction sites subject to humidity and intermittent rain. Polyurethane-modified variants deliver better crack-bridging and improved UV resistance compared to plain bitumen emulsions. Available in 5 kg and 20 kg pails. Finish is black or dark grey.
