WHAT IT IS

Epoxy anchoring adhesive (chemical anchor) is a two-part cartridge-applied adhesive used to post-install rebar, threaded rods, and anchor bolts into drilled holes in existing concrete in Malaysian construction. A thixotropic epoxy resin and hardener are dispensed by a mixing nozzle, fill the annular gap, and cure to compressive strength ≥95 N/mm² and tensile strength ≥23 N/mm². Product example: Sika AnchorFix®-3030, 585 mL dual cartridge (12/box), CE-marked under ETA 17/0693 and ETA 17/0694 for post-installed rebar and bonded fasteners (seismic category C1/C2). Applied in structural strengthening, column base plates, starter bars, and add-on structure connections. Also referred to as sauh kimia or pelekat besi tetulang.
