WATERPROOFING
Liquid-applied polyurethane (PU) waterproofing membrane is a cold-applied, seamless elastic coating used to waterproof exposed flat roofs, balconies, terraces, and concrete decks in Malaysian construction. Applied by roller, brush, or airless spray, it cures to a continuous flexible film with elongation at break of at least 150% and tensile strength of at least 1.0 N/mm², bridging cracks up to 1 mm. Minimum dry film thickness is 1.0–1.5 mm for roof and deck waterproofing. One-component moisture-cured systems suit local contractors; two-component variants cure faster. Available in 5 L and 20 L pails. HS 3208909000 · import duty 25% · SST 10%.
Typical pack size: 5 L and 20 L pail (1-component); 2-component kits vary by manufacturer
1-part moisture-cured or 2-part polyurethane system. Elongation at break typically ≥150%; tensile strength ≥1.0 N/mm². Crack-bridging capability ≥1 mm. DFT (dry film thickness) minimum 1.0–1.5 mm for roof/deck waterproofing.
