WHAT IT IS

Concrete plasticiser is a liquid water-reducing admixture used to improve workability without increasing the water-cement ratio in Malaysian construction. Classified as Type A per MS EN 934-2:2012, it achieves a minimum 5% water reduction at a specified slump, enhancing concrete strength and durability without added water. Suitable for ready-mix, precast, and site-mixed structural concrete, it is especially valuable in Malaysia's tropical climate where unplanned water additions compromise strength gain. Supplied as a lignosulfonate or synthetic polymer liquid in 25 L jerry cans, 200 L drums, or 1,000 L IBCs. Also known as a water reducer, WRA, or bahan tambah plastik at Malaysian batching plants.
