WHAT IT IS

Closed-cell polyethylene foam expansion joint fillerboard is a pre-formed compressible sheet placed into expansion joints in concrete slabs, walls, pavements, and car parks in Malaysian construction. Available in 1 m (W) × 2 m (L) sheets in thicknesses of 10–25 mm, and also as cut-to-size strips, it fills the joint cavity, supports the sealant backer, and accommodates thermal and structural movement without permanent set. The closed-cell cross-linked polyethylene material is non-absorbing, ensuring no moisture uptake in below-grade or exposed applications. Compatible with standard polyurethane and silicone joint sealants. Also known as PE fillerboard, jointflex fillerboard, papan pengisian sambungan, and 聚乙烯泡沫填缝板.
