CEMENT
Calcium Aluminate Cement (CAC / High Alumina Cement) is a specialised hydraulic binder with alumina content exceeding 35% Al₂O₃, used for refractory, chemically resistant, and rapid-hardening applications in Malaysian construction. Conforming to EN 14647, CAC achieves high early strength, withstands temperatures up to approximately 1000°C, and resists sulphate and acid attack — properties critical for drainage structures, chemical plant flooring, and refractory repair mortars. Supplied in 25 kg bags; UOM: bag. Must not be mixed with Portland cement. Also known as HAC, aluminous cement, refractory cement, simen refraktori, and ciment fondu.
