uPVC Downpipe is an above-ground thermoplastic rainwater pipe used to convey roof run-off from gutters to the drainage system on Malaysian residential buildings. Classified under HS 3917230000, import duty 20%, SST 5%. Manufactured from UV-stabilised uPVC to BS EN 12200-1 (Plastics piping systems for above-ground rainwater drainage — PVC-U). Available in round sections: 56, 82, and 110 mm; supplied in 3 m or 6 m lengths. Lightweight and low-cost; matched to uPVC gutter systems in profile and colour (standard grey; also available in brown). Bends, shoes, and offset brackets allow routing around building features. The standard downpipe specification in Malaysian terraced and semi-detached residential construction.
