Mild steel equal angle bar is an L-shaped hot-rolled steel section with two equal legs, used widely in Malaysian construction and fabrication for structural frames, bracing, lintels, stair stringers, gate and fence frames, and steel furniture. Supplied in 6 m standard lengths, leg widths range from 25×25 mm to 150×150 mm at 3–10 mm wall thickness, to MS EN 10025-2 (S275JR or S355JR). Known locally as besi sudut or besi L.
