WHAT IT IS

Bubble aluminium foil reflective insulation is a lightweight radiant barrier and thermal insulation material used under metal deck roofing and between roof purlins in Malaysian construction. Made from polyethylene bubble film laminated to one or two layers of aluminium foil, it reflects radiant heat to reduce solar heat gain into buildings — critical in Malaysia's tropical climate. Supplied in 3 ft × 30 m rolls in single or double bubble configurations with single or double foil faces. Foil surface emissivity is less than 0.05. Fire-retardant grades tested to ASTM E84 or equivalent are specified for industrial and commercial projects. Effective thermal performance depends on the installed air gap, not the material alone.
