SLAB PROPS & SHORING
Heavy-duty shoring tower (prop shoring frame) is a stacked steel frame system used where individual adjustable props are insufficient — under transfer plates, thick flat-slab pours, bridge decks, and multi-storey propping in Malaysian high-rise construction. Steel frames are stacked tier by tier and cross-braced to form a freestanding tower transferring loads to the ground or a lower structural slab. Safe working loads typically 200–500 kN per tower leg. Frame bays 0.6 m × 0.6 m to 1.5 m × 1.5 m; adjustable in height with screw-jack U-heads and base plates. PE-certified design and DOSH inspection mandatory for loads >200 kN. HS 7308409000 · import duty 15% · SST 5%.
Typical pack size: Frame bays 0.6 m × 0.6 m to 1.5 m × 1.5 m; heights typically 1.5–4.5 m adjustable per tier; stacked to project height; supplied as frame + cross brace + U-head + base plate set
High-strength steel tube or pressed steel frame. Complies with BS 5975:2019 (falsework) and CIS 23:2023. Safe working load (SWL) typically 200–500 kN per tower leg depending on frame type and extension. PE design required for heavy-load applications.
