TIMBER & PLYWOOD FORMWORK
Formwork plywood (shuttering plywood) is the face-contact sheet material used in cast-in-place concrete construction in Malaysia. Film-faced phenolic-coated grades on both faces prevent concrete adhesion, yield smooth or textured finishes, and allow 10–50+ pours before replacement. Standard sheet size 2440 mm × 1220 mm; thicknesses 12 mm, 15 mm, 18 mm, and 21 mm. Used on H20 beam slab grids at 500–600 mm secondary beam centres, wall forms, column forms, and beam soffits. Complies with EN 13986:2004 (wood-based panels for construction). Also known as form ply, formply, film-faced plywood, or black film plywood. HS 4418400000 · import duty 20% · SST 5%.
Typical pack size: 2440 mm × 1220 mm (8 ft × 4 ft) standard; thickness: 12 mm, 15 mm, 18 mm, 21 mm; film-faced (black or brown phenolic resin) both faces
Film-faced phenolic-coated plywood; hardwood core (typically tropical species). Complies with EN 13986:2004 (wood-based panels for construction) and common industry practice to MS 544 Part 3 (Malaysian timber design). Reuse rating: 10–20 pours (standard grade) to 50+ pours (premium film-faced).
