TIMBER & PLYWOOD FORMWORK
H20 timber beam is an engineered I-section formwork beam (200 mm depth) used as primary and secondary support in slab, wall, and beam formwork across Malaysian construction sites. The LVL flanges resist bending; the OSB or plywood web carries shear. Beams slot into U-head jacks on adjustable steel props or shoring towers. Standard lengths from 1.8 m to 5.9 m; typical primary beam span up to 2.4 m on 500–600 mm secondary centres beneath 18 mm forming plywood. Complies with EN 13377:2002 formwork beam specification. Sold per piece; available from formwork system suppliers in Malaysia. HS 4418300000 · import duty 20% · SST 5%.
Typical pack size: Height: 200 mm; flange width: 80 mm; lengths: 1.8 m, 2.45 m, 2.9 m, 3.3 m, 3.6 m, 3.9 m, 4.5 m, 4.9 m, 5.4 m, 5.9 m
H20 = 200 mm height I-section; LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) or solid softwood flanges with oriented strand board (OSB) or plywood web. Complies with EN 13377:2002 (Formwork beams — requirements, classification, assessment) and BS EN 13353 (solid wood panels). Bending moment capacity typically 5.5–6.8 kNm.
