CLIMBING FORM
Climbing form system is a steel formwork assembly for tall walls, lift cores, and shear walls in high-rise buildings in Malaysia. The full-height steel panel face climbs the structure floor by floor — either crane-lifted (jump form) or hydraulically self-climbing — without requiring ground-level restaging. Integral working platforms and guardrails travel with the form at each lift. Used for bridge pylons, dam walls, and multi-storey lift cores. Typical panel width 2.4–3.6 m × storey height; wall thickness range 200–400 mm. PE-certified design and DOSH inspection mandatory under CIDB CIS 23:2023. HS 7308409000 · import duty 15% · SST 5%.
Typical pack size: Panels typically 2.4–3.6 m wide × full-storey height; complete climbing system (brackets + formwork panel + working platform) engineered per project
Steel formwork panel face with stiffener frame; hydraulic or crane-assisted climbing brackets. System designed to BS 5975:2019 and CIS 23:2023. Load capacity of climbing bracket per licensed PE design. For walls typically 200–400 mm thickness.
