Plastic wheel spacer is a disc-shaped polypropylene clip that snaps onto horizontal rebars, with the disc diameter equal to the required concrete cover. The circular form allows the assembled bar-and-spacer to roll smoothly along formwork decking when positioning the reinforcement cage, reducing snagging and dislodgement. Outer diameters 30 mm, 35 mm, and 40 mm correspond to the nominal concrete cover specified by the structural engineer. Commonly used on beam bottom bars and column ties.
