WHAT IT IS

Adjustable steel prop (Acrow prop) is a telescopic steel tube shore used in Malaysian construction to support formwork soffits during concrete pours and to prop existing structures during alteration or demolition works. The outer tube carries the load while the inner tube extends and locks with a pin and wing nut. Sized to BS EN 1065:1999 from Size 0 (1.07–1.82 m) to Size 4 (3.20–4.87 m); nominal characteristic strengths from Class A 9.7 kN to Class E 24.2 kN at maximum extension.
