WHAT IT IS

Body-tinted solar control float glass absorbs solar radiation through metal oxides mixed into the glass batch, reducing visible light and solar heat gain. The standard energy-efficient facade glazing for commercial buildings in Malaysia. Thickness: 6 mm; light transmittance varies by colour -- grey approximately 48%, bronze approximately 55%, blue-green approximately 65%. Meets MS 1884. Stock sheets: 1829 mm x 2438 mm; cut-to-size available. Often further heat-treated to tempered or laminated for safety applications. Sold per m2. Also called kaca tinted or kaca berwarna.
