Hollow-core timber flush doors have a smooth hardboard or plywood face bonded to a lightweight timber batten frame, with honeycomb kraft paper or spaced battens as core infill. The standard interior door for Malaysian residential and commercial buildings: economical, lightweight, and simple to fit. Standard sizes: 762 mm x 2032 mm x 35 mm or 838 mm x 2032 mm x 35 mm. Face sheets: 3 mm hardboard or 4 mm plywood. Interior use only. Industry reference: BS 459. Sold per piece. Also called pintu rata or pintu flush. HS 4418.110000, import duty 20%, SST 5%.
