Clear float glass 4 mm is produced by floating molten glass on molten tin, yielding a flat sheet with light transmittance of 88% or higher. The standard glazing thickness for residential windows, aluminium sliding windows, casement windows, interior partitions, and cabinet doors in Malaysia. Meets MS 1884 (flat glass for buildings, EN 572 series); quality class Q3. Stock sheets: 1524 mm x 1829 mm; cut-to-size available. Must be heat-treated (tempered or laminated) in safety-critical locations per building code. Sold per m2. Also called kaca apung jernih 4mm. HS 7005.292000, import duty 30%, SST 10%.
