WHAT IT IS

Clear float glass 6 mm is the standard thickness for commercial shopfronts, glass partitions, and larger window panes in Malaysia, providing greater wind-load resistance than 4 mm glass and suitable for pane areas up to approximately 1.5 m2. Meets MS 1884 / EN 572. Thickness 6 mm; light transmittance 88% or higher. Stock sheets: 1829 mm x 2438 mm; cut-to-size available. Must be heat-treated (tempered or laminated) in safety-critical locations. Sold per m2. Also called kaca apung jernih 6mm. HS 7005.292000, import duty 30%, SST 10%.
