WHAT IT IS

Hydraulic overhead door closers regulate closing speed via hydraulic fluid, preventing slamming and providing OKU-accessible closing force. Mandatory on all fire-rated doorsets in Malaysia per MS 1073: Part 3:1996. Fire-door closers must carry SIRIM and BOMBA certification. Closing force graded EN 2-6; EN 3 (up to 950 mm door width) and EN 4 (up to 1100 mm) are standard commercial sizes. Surface-mounted parallel-arm and regular-arm variants most common; concealed overhead closers for higher-specification projects. Body: steel or cast iron. Sold per piece with arm and fixings.
