FLOOR COMPOUND
Polymer-fortified floor screed mortar is a factory-blended cementitious dry mortar reinforced with polymer additives, used to lay structural floating or bonded screeds of 12–50 mm depth beneath tiles or stone cladding in Malaysian construction. Polymer content reduces plastic shrinkage cracking and improves adhesion to the concrete substrate compared to a plain sand-cement mix. Compressive strength generally exceeds 25 MPa at 28 days. Suitable for floors requiring precise falls to drainage gullies and wet areas; also compatible with underfloor heating substrates. Supplied in 25 kg and 40 kg bags.
