PAVERS
Concrete interlocking paver blocks are precast units used for car parks, driveways, footpaths, and landscaped areas in Malaysian construction. The profiled edges lock adjacent units together without mortar, distributing traffic loads across the pavement without individual unit failure. Compressive strength is ≥ 50 MPa for pedestrian areas and ≥ 60 MPa for light vehicular traffic; thickness is 60 mm (pedestrian) or 80 mm (vehicular). Available in rectangular, hexagonal, and shaped profiles; sold by piece or pallet. Practice references BS EN 1338 (Concrete paving blocks). Common trade names include paving block, conblock, blok paver, and blok turap berkunci.
Typical pack size: Common sizes: 60 mm × various plan shapes (rectangular, hexagonal, uni-shaped); sold by piece or pallet (~150–200 m²/pallet equivalent)
