SOLAR CONTROL FILM
High-VLT solar control window film is a self-adhesive architectural film applied to the interior glass surface of homes and offices in Malaysia to reduce heat gain and glare while admitting 60–70% of visible light. Nano-ceramic and spectrally selective constructions reject ≥60% infrared and ≥99% UV without a metallic layer, so they do not interfere with mobile, GPS, or RFID signals. Tested per NFRC 200 / ASHRAE 74; TSER typically 40–60%. Supplied in architectural rolls (60 in or 72 in wide × 100 ft) and installed per sqft. Typical lifespan 10–15 years.
