SMART SWITCHABLE GLASS
Factory-laminated PDLC smart glass is a finished glazing panel combining tempered glass with an embedded switchable liquid-crystal interlayer, used in executive offices, conference room walls, hotel suites, hospitals, and architectural façades in Malaysia. Unlike retrofit smart film, the PDLC layer is built into the glass during fabrication — no post-installation lamination required. Panels are custom-fabricated to order; typical construction is 5+5 mm or 6+6 mm tempered float glass; VLT on-state ~70–80%; UV block ≥99%; STC sound rating 35–42 dB.
