WHAT IT IS

Hardwood cut nails (paku kayu) are hardened or tempered steel nails with a square or rectangular tapered shank designed for driving into dense tropical hardwoods, concrete blocks, and brickwork where ordinary wire nails would buckle or fail. Used in Malaysia for timber flooring installation, hardwood battening, and direct-to-block or brick fixing. Available in 1" to 4" sizes, sold in 1–5 kg packets. Harder steel grade and tapered cross-section shank distinguish them from standard wire nails. Also called paku keras, paku batu (masonry variant), or tempered steel nail by Malaysian hardware traders. No HS code applicable for this listing.
