Polyethylene (PE) sheet — also called builder's film or DPM (damp-proof membrane) — is a low-density or high-density polyethylene roll used on Malaysian construction sites as a vapour barrier under concrete slabs, a curing sheet over fresh pours, temporary weather protection, and concrete protection during finishing work. Common thicknesses are 0.20 mm and 0.25 mm (800–1000 gauge). Typical rolls measure 0.2 mm × 4 m × 50 m or 0.25 mm × 3.66 m × 42.7 m. Available in transparent, black, and blue. Woven polypropylene sandbags are flat-woven PP fabric bags used on Malaysian construction sites to control stormwater runoff and silt, protect drainage inlets, form temporary berm diversion channels, prevent mud migration at site entrances, and ballast temporary structures. A mandatory erosion-control measure on many sites under Department of Environment (DOE) environmental requirements. Standard empty bag sizes: 350 mm × 650 mm or 400 mm × 700 mm. A construction waste skip (roll-on roll-off container) is a large open-top steel container used on Malaysian building sites to collect and remove construction and demolition debris, excavated soil, mixed rubble, and general site waste. Collected by hook-lift or skip-lift lorry and taken to licensed disposal facilities under CIDB Construction Waste Management Guidelines 2012.
