Woven Polypropylene Sandbag (PP Sandbag)

WHAT IT IS

Woven polypropylene sandbags are flat-woven PP fabric bags used on Malaysian construction sites to control stormwater runoff and silt, protect drainage inlets, form temporary berm diversion channels, prevent mud migration at site entrances, and ballast temporary structures. A mandatory erosion-control measure on many sites under Department of Environment (DOE) environmental requirements. Standard empty bag sizes: 350 mm × 650 mm or 400 mm × 700 mm. Sold in bundles of 100 or 500 pieces, unfilled; workers fill on-site to a filled weight of approximately 15–20 kg. Also called beg pasir or karung pasir locally.
