WHAT IT IS

Concrete Interlocking Roof Tile is a cement-based pitched-roof covering used for residential and commercial roofing in Malaysian construction. Manufactured to MS 797:Part 1 and certified under SIRIM, it is the dominant roof tile type installed nationwide. The Elabana S-curve profile is the single most-installed variant, with Espana (flat) and Double Roman also widely used. Tiles interlock to form a weather-tight covering over timber or steel rafter-and-batten systems, shedding Malaysia's heavy monsoon rainfall reliably. Coverage is approximately 10–12 pieces per m² depending on profile. Sold per piece or per bundle, and compatible with concrete hip and ridge cappings. Typical service life is 40–50 years.
