RECYCLED MATERIALS
Recycled Concrete Aggregate (RCA) is produced by crushing concrete from demolished structures, road pavements, or construction waste, reducing demand for virgin quarry aggregate and diverting demolition waste from landfill. Performance per MS EN 12620:2014 (aggregates for concrete) as secondary aggregate; typically limited to sub-base, lean concrete, non-structural fills, and lower-grade structural concrete with proper quality control. Nominal size 10 mm, 20 mm, or 40 mm. Water absorption higher than virgin aggregate. Contributes to material credits under GBI and GreenRE rating systems. Sold in bulk by tonne or m3. Also called agregat kitar semula or RCA. HS 2517.490000, import duty 0%, SST 0%.
Typical pack size: Bulk loose; delivered by lorry (typically 4–10 tonne loads); nominal size 10 mm, 20 mm, or 40 mm
Recycled aggregate from crushed concrete demolition waste. Performance to MS EN 12620:2014 (Aggregates for concrete) as secondary aggregate; typically limited to non-structural or lower-grade concrete applications per local authority guidance. Water absorption higher than virgin aggregate; LA abrasion values may be higher. GBI / GreenRE credits for use of recycled content materials.
