WHAT IT IS

LED recessed downlights are energy-efficient ceiling luminaires installed flush into plasterboard, gypsum, or concrete soffits. They consume 50-80% less energy than halogen or CFL equivalents and last 25,000 hours or more. Efficacy typically 80 lm/W or higher; CRI 80 or higher. Complies with IEC 62471 (photobiological safety) and IEC 60598-1 (luminaire general requirements). SIRIM product certification recommended for the Malaysian market. Available in 4, 5, and 6 inch round or square; power 8-18 W; colour temperature 3000-6500 K. Widely specified for GBI and GreenRE energy credits. Sold per unit. Also called lampu bawah LED or LED downlight.
