WHAT IT IS

Eco fibre cement boards are manufactured with cellulose fibres and fly-ash (a recycled industrial by-product) as partial cement replacement, reducing embodied carbon. Used for internal and external cladding, ceiling linings, wet area wall boards, and partition systems in Malaysian construction. Fire-resistant, moisture-resistant, and termite-resistant. Meets ISO 8336 (fibre-cement flat sheets). Malaysian brands such as UAC Berhad hold MyHIJAU Mark and SIRIM Eco-Label; CIDB Schedule 4 regulated product per ISO 8336. Standard sheet 2440 mm x 1220 mm; thickness 6, 9, 12, or 15 mm. Sold per sheet. Also called papan simen serat or FCB. HS 6811.822000, import duty 10%, SST 5%.
