WHAT IT IS

Door butt hinges are the standard pivot mechanism for all swinging doors in Malaysia. SS304 stainless steel is preferred for corrosion resistance in the humid tropical climate. Leaf thickness 2.5-3.0 mm; load rating 80 kg per pair (3-knuckle) or 100 kg per pair (4-knuckle). Standard sizes: 100 mm x 75 mm, 100 mm x 100 mm, 125 mm x 75 mm. Minimum per door: 3 hinges residential, 5 for fire-rated doorsets per MS 1601. Ball-bearing knuckles for commercial and high-traffic doors. Fire-door hinges must be steel only per MS 1601. Sold per piece. Also called engsel pintu or engsel rata. HS 8302.100000, import duty 15%, SST 5%.
