WHAT IT IS

A bare aluminium window frame (jenang tingkap) is the four-piece knock-down structural surround -- head, sill, and two side jambs -- that holds a window sash or fixed glazing within a wall opening, supplied without glass, sliding hardware, or casement mechanisms. Fabricated from extruded aluminium alloy 6063-T5; minimum wall thickness 1.2 mm. Common sizes: 2 ft x 2 ft to 4 ft x 6 ft; custom fabrication available. Finish: powder-coated or mill finish. Used in Malaysian residential and light commercial construction as a simple, rust-free window surround. Sold per unit. Also called jenang tingkap aluminium. HS 7610.109000, import duty 25%, SST 5%.
