A spirit level is a hand-held precision measuring tool used on Malaysian construction sites to verify true horizontal (level) and vertical (plumb) alignment of walls, frames, tiles, formwork, and structural elements. A sealed vial containing liquid and a trapped air bubble indicates exact alignment when the bubble centres between the graduation marks.
