An angle grinder is a hand-held power tool with a high-speed rotating disc for cutting, grinding, and polishing metal, masonry, tiles, and concrete on Malaysian construction sites. Used for cutting rebar, pipe, and structural steel sections; grinding weld seams and surface rust; and cutting ceramic or porcelain tiles. Disc diameter options — 100 mm, 115 mm, 125 mm, 180 mm, and 230 mm — suit applications from precision tile work to heavy demolition grinding. Motor ratings range from 650 W (100 mm) to 2,400 W (230 mm); disc speed 6,000–11,000 RPM. Abrasive and cut-off discs comply with EN 12413. SIRIM product safety certification required for tools sold in Malaysia.
