HAND TOOLS
A claw hammer is a hand tool with a flat steel striking face for driving nails and a curved bifurcated claw for pulling and levering out nails, used throughout Malaysian construction for carpentry, timber framing, formwork erection, and general site work. The drop-forged hardened steel head is available in 450 g (16 oz), 560 g (20 oz), and 680 g (24 oz) weights. Handles are fibreglass, hickory wood, or rubber-grip steel — fibreglass and steel handles reduce vibration and resist breakage in heavy use. Lighter 450 g versions suit finish carpentry; 560 g framing hammers are the standard for structural formwork on Malaysian sites.
Typical pack size: Single piece; head weight 450 g (16 oz), 560 g (20 oz), 680 g (24 oz)
