WHAT IT IS

Oriented Strand Board (OSB) is an engineered wood panel made from compressed cross-oriented wood strands bonded with resin under heat and pressure, providing bi-directional structural strength. OSB/3 is the moisture-resistant structural grade to EN 300, widely specified in Malaysia for roof sarking, wall sheathing, hoarding boards, and sub-flooring. Standard sheet 1220 × 2440 mm (4 × 8); thicknesses 9–18 mm. Also known locally as papan stran berorientasi. Generally lower cost than structural plywood for sheathing applications where flat panel performance is required. HS 4410120000 · import duty 20% · SST 10%.
