FLOOR LEVELLING & SCREEDS
Self-levelling floor underlayment compound is a cement-based or gypsum-anhydrite-based poured material used to create a flat, smooth base for flooring in Malaysian construction. Mixed with water and poured onto a prepared subfloor, it self-corrects undulations under gravity to achieve ±2 mm flatness over a 3–6 mm typical pour depth. Coverage is approximately 4–5 m² per 25 kg bag at 5 mm thickness. Compressive strength typically ≥ 20 N/mm². Fast-cure versions allow early foot traffic. Used in office fit-outs, retail renovations, and housing projects as a substrate for carpet, vinyl, ceramic tile, and timber flooring. Also traded as SLU, flow screed, floor levelling compound, sebatian aras sendiri, and sebatian rataan lantai.
