Precast concrete wall coping caps are fitted along the top course of boundary walls, compound perimeter walls, and retaining walls in Malaysian construction to form a weatherproof wall head. The sloped or profiled surface sheds rainwater away from the wall face, reducing water ingress into mortar joints and extending wall service life in Malaysia's tropical rainfall conditions. Available in precast concrete or GRC (glass-fibre reinforced concrete), in plain, textured, or coloured finishes; widths 50–250 mm, lengths 600–1200 mm.
