WHAT IT IS

Twin-and-earth (T&E) flat cable (300/500 V) is the standard concealed-wiring cable for domestic and light-commercial electrical installations across Malaysia. Two PVC-insulated copper conductors (live and neutral) plus a bare earth conductor, enclosed in a grey PVC flat sheath. Rated to MS 2112-4:2009 (IEC 60227-4). Use 1.5 mm² for lighting circuits and 2.5 mm² for ring-main and radial socket-outlet circuits. Available in 50 m and 100 m rolls. SIRIM certification required. Also known as kabel pipih or kabel T&E.
