WHAT IT IS

PVC rigid electrical conduit (heavy gauge) is a thermoplastic pipe that protects insulated wiring in surface-mounted and concealed electrical installations throughout Malaysian buildings. Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and non-conductive. Complies with MS 61386-21:2010 (equivalent to IEC 61386-21). Standard metric outside diameters: 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, and 63 mm. Sold in 3 m lengths; joined with PVC couplings, elbows, and junction boxes. SIRIM certification required for JKR and government projects. Also known as konduit PVC or white conduit.
