WHAT IT IS

Adjustable base jack (screw jack with base plate) is fitted to the base of scaffold standards or formwork shores to level a scaffold structure on uneven ground in Malaysian construction. The threaded steel spindle (OD 38 mm or 48 mm) allows height adjustment up to approximately 500 mm; base plate is 150 × 150 mm or 180 × 180 mm. Safe working load is typically 30–50 kN per jack. Both U-head variants (for timber beams in formwork) and flat-plate variants are available. Hot-dip galvanised or painted finish. Complies with BS EN 74-3:2005. Sold per piece.
