WHAT IT IS

PVC plastering corner beads are extruded uPVC strips embedded in cement plaster at external wall corners and column arises in Malaysian construction to protect finished corners and deliver clean, straight arriss lines. The perforated flanges allow plaster to key into the profile; the bead is nailed or stapled before applying the scratch coat, then overcoated with the finishing plaster. Available in sharp-corner (A2) and round-corner (A3) profiles, supplied in 2.0–2.5 m lengths with wing widths of 18–28 mm. Commonly used on RC columns and masonry walls in residential and commercial plastering work. Also known as angle bead or 护角条.
