WHAT IT IS

uPVC Pressure Pipe Class E is an unplasticised PVC pipe rated PN 12 (12 bar working pressure) for cold-water supply in Malaysian residential and light commercial plumbing. It conforms to MS 628:Part 1, the Malaysian adoption of BS 3505, and must carry SIRIM certification for sale in Malaysia. Supplied in 5.8 m lengths; nominal diameters range from 15 mm to 200 mm with common residential sizes at 20 mm, 25 mm, 32 mm, and 50 mm. Joints are made with solvent cement or compression fittings. Class E is the standard pressure class for domestic cold-water distribution; Class D (PN 9) is used for lower-pressure runs. Known locally as paip PVC kelas E or paip air PVC.
