WHAT IT IS

Precast reinforced concrete culvert pipes with spigot-and-socket (rebated) joints conform to MS 881, the Malaysian standard for precast concrete pipes for culverts and drains. Used for road culverts, stormwater drainage, and irrigation channels under embankments and roads, they are available in Class X, Y, and Z load-bearing grades and internal diameters from 300 mm to 1,500 mm, each unit 1.52 m long. Class X is standard for most Malaysian road crossings. The rebated joint with rubber ring provides watertightness without full grouting. SIRIM certification is available for MS 881 products.
