Emergency and exit lights are battery-backed LED luminaires installed on escape routes, corridors, stairwells, and exits in Malaysian commercial and public buildings to provide illumination during mains power failure. SIRIM-certified and Bomba (JBPM) approved products are required by law for fire safety compliance in Malaysia. Two types: maintained (continuously lit) and non-maintained (activates only on power failure). Minimum 3-hour emergency duration required for commercial premises. Complies with MS 619-2:2005 (IEC 60598-2-22). Also known as lampu kecemasan or lampu keluar. HS 9405199900 · duty 20% · SST 10%.
